| The Conference highlighted the teachings and thoughts of Hadrat Sultan Bahoo & Mevlana Rumi and also the role they played in guiding people from materialism to spiritual ascension, from worldly woes to inner contentment and also in making man aware of his real status. The Conference was comprised of four academic sessions and one musical evening session in addition to inaugural and concluding sessions. Speakers presented their Conference papers covering diverse topics highlighting similarities between the teachings of these two renowned Sufi mystics and comparative analysis of the same. The topics of the Conference covered literary, spiritual, social and moral contributions of Mevlana Rumi and Hadrat Sultan Bahoo in their respective ages, the impact of the same on the subsequent periods and also its relevancy in contemporary world to counter rise of moral decline as well as widespread social discontentment and disorientation. |
