MUSLIM Institute organized a special lecture "Shah Waliullah: Scholar & Sufi" on Tuesday, March 06, 2018 at Islamabad. Professor Marcia K. Hermansen from Loyola University, Chicago, USA delivered the special lecture. Mr. Tahir Mehmood, Public Relations Coordinator, MUSLIM Institute gave the welcome remarks & vote of thanks. Dr Saira Alvi moderated the proceedings of the event.

United Platform of pro-plebiscite parties of Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) organized a special interactive session “Ideology of Pakistan as per teachings of Quran, Quaid-e-Azam & Allama Muhammad Iqbal” at APHC office Islamabad. Chairman, MUSLIM Institute Sahibzada Sultan Ahmad Ali delivered the special lecture and answered different questions asked by participants in the interactive session. Mr. Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Convener Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu Kashmir welcomed the guests and gave opening remarks. APHC leaders were also present on that occasion.

Muslim Institute organised a special lecture titled “Awake Leader of Slumbering Asia” to mark the 216th anniversary of the martyrdom of the great sub-continental leader, Tipu Sultan. Foreign delegations, diplomats, researchers, parliamentarians, academics, journalists and students of colleges and universities participated in the lecture. Public Relations Coordinator of Muslim institute, Mr. Tahir Mehmood moderated the proceedings.

Keeping in view the current situation in Gaza as well as the historical perspective of the Palestine issue, MUSLIM Institute feels that there is dire need of raising the voice over the issue. For the purpose the Institute has taken special remarks from few guests on Friday and Saturday 18th & 19th July 2014 in Islamabad.

On Thursday 17th July 2014 an exclusive interview with the Ambassador of Palestine to Pakistan Excellency Mr. Walid Abu Ali was conducted at the Embassy of Palestine by the team of MUSLIM institute. Tahir Mehmood from MUSLIM Institute conducted this interview. The aim of this interview was to have views of the official representative of Palestine about the exact current situation of Palestine. Keeping in view the current situation of Gaza some questions were asked from the Ambassador of Palestine Excellency Mr. Walid Abu Ali.

A delegation of MUSLIM Institute a research based think tank was called on by the Palestinian diplomats at the Embassy of Palestine in Islamabad-Pakistan; in this meeting the revised Palestinian statehood bid which is set for a vote in the UN General Assembly on November 29 was discussed.
